AKA City Kitty Cottage

This is a new house designed to blend into a historic neighborhood. The house that previously stood here had too many significant issues to justify a renovation. So, we embarked on a multi year design project with our clients, an artist and a landscape designer. He has the eye for detail, she has the artistic vision. Occupying a double lot, the house features a “big sister” (bedrooms and private spaces), a “little sister” (kitchen, sunroom and laundry) connected by a great room. This allows it to sit on the lot with a light footprint, the amazing landscaping does the rest.
